Fund Fido Vet Payout Account Terms

These terms apply to veterinary practices and other approved recipients receiving campaign funds through Fund Fido. They replace generic Stripe agreement text on this page and explain Fund Fido's payout approval, onboarding, and payout timing rules.

1. Overview

These Payment Account Terms apply to any veterinary practice, veterinary professional, or other payout recipient that receives funds through Fund Fido. By enrolling for payouts or connecting a payout account, you agree to these terms, applicable Stripe terms, and any other platform policies referenced by Fund Fido. Fund Fido uses Stripe Connect and Stripe Express to help eligible payout recipients connect a bank account and receive payouts. Fund Fido controls when payout requests are approved and submitted, and Stripe and the receiving bank control payment processing after a payout is initiated.

2. Stripe Express account setup

To receive payouts, a vet must complete any onboarding, identity verification, tax information, and bank account setup required by Fund Fido and Stripe. Fund Fido may require a vet to maintain an active Stripe Express or other connected account designated by Fund Fido in order to receive campaign proceeds. The vet is responsible for ensuring that all account, business, tax, ownership, and banking information submitted through Stripe Express is accurate and kept current. Fund Fido may delay or refuse payouts where required verification is incomplete or where payout instructions appear inaccurate, risky, or non-compliant.

3. Manual approval and payout authorization

Campaign funds are not automatically paid out immediately upon campaign close. After a campaign closes, Fund Fido performs an internal review and, once approved, manually triggers the payout through Stripe.
Payouts are released only after Fund Fido confirms that the campaign is eligible for disbursement, all required account information is complete, and no fraud, compliance, dispute, or operational issue requires a hold or review.

4. Payout timing

Once Fund Fido manually approves a payout and submits the payout instruction through Stripe, actual receipt timing depends on Stripe's payout processing and the receiving bank. Fund Fido does not guarantee same-day receipt unless an eligible instant payout method is specifically offered.

Standard payout timing After Stripe processes the payout, funds typically arrive in the connected bank account within 1 to 4 business days, though some banks may post funds later.
Delays Weekends, holidays, the receiving bank's internal processing times, first payout timing, and verification reviews may delay availability.

5. Fees, reversals, and holds

Fund Fido may deduct any platform fees, payment processing fees, chargebacks, reversals, offsets, or other authorized amounts before releasing campaign proceeds, if disclosed in the applicable campaign or platform materials. If a payout has already been made and a later adjustment applies, Fund Fido may offset that amount against future funds otherwise payable to the vet. Fund Fido may place a temporary hold on payouts when needed for fraud prevention, dispute review, legal compliance, identity verification, bank account confirmation, or operational review. Fund Fido may also cancel or reissue a payout where a bank account is invalid, closed, or unable to receive funds.

6. Recipient responsibilities

The vet is responsible for maintaining access to its Stripe Express account, monitoring payout status, and responding promptly to requests for additional information from Fund Fido or Stripe. Fund Fido is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect banking details, incomplete verification, or the receiving bank.

7. Stripe terms

Stripe services used for connected accounts and payouts are separate third-party services. 8. Support and updates

Questions regarding campaign eligibility, payout approval status, or platform deductions should be directed to Fund Fido. Questions specific to connected-account access or bank posting may also require review through Stripe Express support tools made available to the recipient. Fund Fido may update these Payment Account Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page.
